They say that you should start something the way that you mean to continue it. With that in mind, at 6:30am on the first day of the new financial year and coincidentally the first day of our new business, we launched our kayaks in the dark and paddled from Takapuna Beach to Rangitoto Island. 

After a quick run to the top and a couple of summit photos we ran back down, jumped in the boats and headed back to Takapuna for a well deserved pastry and coffee. 

I can’t think of a better way to launch a new business or a better team to be doing it with. And that folks is how we intend to continue, getting up while the rest of the city sleeps,  challenging ourselves, working hard and then enjoying the rewards. I hope we get to share our journey and also some adventures with you as well. Just be prepared for early starts, a few laughs and a challenge or two!
