The Crux team has just returned from our latest adventure, being a four-day Whitewater rafting trip on the Clarence River in the South Island. It was great to host Cary, Dan and Alex from Southside, Julian and Mo from Method Group and Dave from Hopper Construction. 

The best thing about these trips, other than the scenery and the break from our urban lives and routines, is the opportunity to spend some quality time with like minded people who are passionate about delivering exceptional projects. 

We all got to know each other a little better and were each able to see how we cope with some of the challenges which the river and weather can throw at us.

We didn’t solve any of the world’s problems, but we did manage to have plenty of laughs, enjoyed some good food, cooked over an open fire, and experienced some quality isolation from the real world. 

Now…back to work!
